هدفت الدراسة إلى توظيف الزخارف المعمارية الحجازية في جدة التاريخية في تصميم جداريات تصويرية معاصرة تسهم في تعزيز الهوية التراثية السعودية. وسعت إلى التعرف على خصائص العمارة التقليدية، وتحليل الزخارف المعمارية الحجازية، ودراسة أساليب وتقنيات الفن الجداري المعاصر، والكشف عن إمكانية توظيف هذه الزخارف في تصميم جدارية معاصرة. واعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي لدراسة وتحليل العمارة والزخارف الحجازية والفن الجداري، والمنهج التطبيقي لتصميم وتنفيذ جدارية تصويرية مستوحاة من الزخارف المعمارية في جدة التاريخية. وتمثلت عينة الدراسة في مجموعة مختارة من الزخارف المعمارية بالمباني التراثية. وأظهرت النتائج أن الزخارف المعمارية الحجازية تمتلك قيماً جمالية وتشكيلية تتيح إعادة توظيفها في الفن الجداري المعاصر، كما أثبت التطبيق العملي إمكانية تصميم جدارية تصويرية تحقق التوازن بين الأصالة والمعاصرة وتسهم في تعزيز الهوية التراثية السعودية. وأوصت الدراسة بتشجيع استلهام التراث المعماري في الفنون البصرية، وتوثيق الزخارف المعمارية، والإفادة منها في مجالات التربية الفنية والتصميم.
