يتناول البحث، مفهوم والاستعارة التركيبية من منظور فلسفي وكيف يمكن تطبيقه في الفنون التشكيلية من خلال تحليل نماذج من أعمال الخزافة أدريان أريليو. يعكس البحث كيفية استخدام الاستعارة التركيبية كوسيلة لنقل الرؤى الفلسفية والمعاني العميقة من خلال الفن، وعليه تأسست هيكلية البحث ضمن أربعة فصول، أحتوى الفصل الأول (الإطار العام) على مشكلة البحث والتي أوجزها الباحث بتساؤله (كيفه تم تفعيل الاستعارة التركيبية لتحقيق نتاج خزفي وما هي الاشتغالات البصرية التي تم تفعيلها من قبل الخزافة في تحقيق الاستعارات المركبة؟ وهدف البحث في (التعرف على الاستعارة التركيبية والية تطبيقها في خزفيات ادريان اريليو النحتية)، أما الفصل الثاني (الإطار النظري) فقد تضمن مبحثين تناول المبحث الأول: (مفهوم الاستعارة والاستعارة التركيبية)، وتناول المبحث الثاني: (المخرجات الفنية للخزافة ادريان اريليو النحتية)، أما الفصل الثالث (إجراءات البحث)، فقد تضمن تحديد مجتمع البحث وقد تم اختيار (4) اعمال فنية، فيما أحتوى الفصل الرابع على النتائج والاستنتاجات، ومن اهم النتائج ، تمكنت الخزافة ومن خلال خطابها النحتي الخزفي الوصول الى مستوى تشفير دلالي تعبيري مميز، فمازجت بين الأجزاء المصغرة من نفس الجنس (اجزاء بشرية) للخروج بشكل بشري حتى بدت الكتل مكملة لبعضها تدعو لقراءة تعبيرية سردية تحاكي الواقع بدلالات عميقة، فالاستعارة التركيبية بناء واعي فضلا عن رؤية فنية تدمج بين الفن والتكنولوجيا والثقافة، مما يجعلها إبداعًا جماليًا وتعبيرًا عن فلسفتها وقضاياها الاجتماعية فتجمع هذه الاستعارة بين مكونات متنوعة لتكوين رسائل ذات معاني متعددة، تتعلق بالعالم البيئي والثقافي والاجتماعي.
