هذه الدراسة تمثل محاولة لتطبيق إحدى الإضاءات المعرفية التي رافقت مرحلة ما بعد الحداثة ألا وهو النقد الثقافي، الذي يعد من أبرز تياراتها الفكرية المعاصرة ،فالدراسة تسعى للكشف عن المضمرات النسقية القابعة تحت اقنعة الجمالي والقبيح الثقافي والعمل على استقراء رموزها وما تستكنه من أبعاد ثقافية ،كما تسعى لتحليل أربعة أنواع من الأنساق الثقافية في مجموعة النصوص المسرحية للكاتب علي عبد النبي الزيدي الموسومة ( عودة الرجل الذي لم يغب ) استنادا إلى المقاربات النقدية للنقد الثقافي وهم نسق( الفحولة ) ونسق (الحرب/الفقد) ونسق (النحن والآخر) ونسق( العبث واللاجدوى) ودراستهم في سياقهم السياسي والاجتماعي والثقافي، بوصفهم نصوصا متخيلة تزخر بالتمثلات الثقافية المتنوعة من خلال الإجابة عن مجموعة من الاسئلة :- ما هذه الأنساق المتوارية، وكيف تجلت في الخطاب المسرحي ؟ وما الآليات التي تساعدنا في الكشف عنها ؟ وهل لها علاقة بنقد الوضع السياسي والاجتماعي والإيديولوجي في واقعه المعاش ؟
