في تاريخ المسرح العراقي لطالما كان الموروث الشعبي مصدر إلهام غزير وغني للفنانين، اذ يحمل في طياته قيمًا، وتقاليد وحكايات تشكل جزءًا كبيرًا من الوعي الجماعي. في هذا البحث، سنتناول كيفية توظيفه في أداء الممثل المسرحي العراقي, حيث يهدف الممثل إلى إحياء التراث وتقديمه بشكل يتماشى مع الزمن الحديث، مما يساعد على تعزيز الهوية الثقافية والارتباط بالجذور , اذ تم استخدام الموروث الشعبي في مسرحية الخيط والعصفور بطرق متعددة مثل اللغة، الأزياء، الموسيقى، والرقصات. والاداء الحركي وعبر ما تقدم سيحاول الباحث دراسة هذا البحث بأربعة فصول تمثل الفصل الاول الاطار المنهجي مشكلة البحث حول التساؤل الآتي: هل استطاع الممثل العراقي ان يوظف الموروث الشعبي وفق ادواته الحركية والصوتية في عرض مسرحية الخيط والعصفور , ثم اهمية البحث وهدفه عبر الكشف والتعرف على اهم المهارات والتقنيات الادائية التي تتلاءم مع الشخصيات الحاملة للموروث الشعبي في عرض مسرحية الخيط والعصفور 0 ثم حدود البحث وتحديد المصطلحات اما الفصل الثاني الاطار النظري فتضمن مبحثين الاول: الموروث الشعبي( نظرة تاريخية ) اما المبحث الثاني الموروث الشعبي واداء الممثل المسرحي , ثم وما اسفر عنه الاطار النظري من مؤشرات , اما الفصل الثالث اجراءات تضمن مجتمع البحث وعينته وادة البحث وتحليل العينة ثم الفصل الرابع نتائج واستنتاجات وتوصيات ومقترحات وختم البحث بالمصادر .
