يرسم العنف صورة أيقونية في ذاكراتنا ترتبط بالدامي والقسوة والظلمة ... وغيرها, إلا أن الأداء المسرحي يستوجب تنويعاً أدائياً يتسامى على المرجعيات الأيقونية للعنف, ويتطرق البحث إلى الأشكال والوسائل التي يتم بوساطتها توصيل فلسفة العنف الأدائية, مستنداً إلى البيئة النصية في تفعيل القدرات الجسدية والصوتية ومساندة السنوغرافيا, متجنباً ممارسة العنف على المتلقي أو توريطه عاطفياً بهدف الإبقاء على يقظته العقلية.
