This research, which came under the title "The Melodic Characteristics of the Iraqi Ghanassik Heritage within the Eastern Musical Maqams", contained three chapters as follows;
The first chapter presented the research problem, its objectives, its importance, as well as the limitations of the research.
The second chapter included the theoretical framework with which we dealt with the concept of musical art, and the role of the oriental maqams in Iraqi music, up to Gnasiqism in Iraqi music.
In the third chapter that we devoted to the research procedures, which included the artistic construction of Iraqi musical maqms in the musical heritage and heritage to the fixed and changing in the Iraqi ghansic heritage, and then the results, conclusions, recommendations, and the list of sources and references
